Mom Has Arrived!
My mom arrived yesterday and everything is going well. We just finished brunch and are going to go get some groceries. Today is Sunday so nothing is open and there is not a lot to do. She will come to school with me Monday - Thursday. Then, Friday - Monday we will spend in town. We will make sure to upload pictures and update the blog once or twice in the next week.

Katie and Nancy, I want you to know katie's entry made me cry. It is so great that Nancy had the op. to visit. What an experience for you both. Nancy... sounds to me like your daughter has advanced into adulthood. Problem solving is a huge step. Enjoy each other.

Mel and I are back from the islands, as always a great time, I will only give you one story right now...The Saturday we got there it was overcast (due to Noel) and we all went to a JJ's for dinner and drinks but I wanted to watch the UT game so Mel and I went to Woody's Seafood Saloon we met a couple from Indy on their last day and sat and drank with them, then Andy (the guy of the couple) said, Kenny Chesney is at the bar, so Mel goes up and asks the manager to change the channel to the UT game and Kenny came over and we just hung out. Then the bar started to notice who was there, I we asked him if he wanted to come back to our place and have a few drinks..we then spent the rest of the night hanging out with Kenny flippin Chesney.
